Most Popular 2019 Baby Girl Names
I remember when I found out I was having a girl and I already knew the exact name I was going to name her. I was that person who had one of their kids names picked out years in advanced, including a middle name. My husband was on board to, so that made it even extra special.
We tried to keep the name a secret until I spilled the beans while visiting family back in Minnesota. My mom's ears were working in overdrive that day and of all the things she doesn't hear, she sure heard me say the name.
If you are wondering, we named out first girl Cameryn Olivia. We had no rhyme or reason or cool story behind the name. In fact, I remember first hearing of a girl names Cameran on the MTV show Real World (way back in the day). I also have always loved the actress Cameron Diaz and the name just always stuck with me.
My husband and I went on to have two more kids, our son Luke Anderson (his middle name is my maiden name) and Collette Gwyneth. With Collette we were between Gwen and Collette. My husband and oldest voted Gwen (almost Cameryn's name if we didn't name her Cameryn) but for some reason I was already calling her Collette in my belly. We all agreed that would be her name under one stipulation. We didn't call her Coco. Lo and behold, we rarely call her by Collette and her nickname Coco is what seriously everyone calls her.
