Please measure your child's head before ordering as there are NO returns and NO exchanges on headwraps. The size large measure 16" and is about 2.5" in width and the size small measure about 14" and 2" in width. You can fold the headband to decrease the width and it looks super cute! If you measure your child's head at 16" the size small would fit better since the headbands stretch.
